Katie and Sophie and doing great. Hard to believe two years have gone by already. They went camping with us this weekend and had a blast. They also are obssessed with tennis balls. They love the neighborhood kids and howl at the sirens.They are such beautiful and loving girls ... the truest of frinds, whose devotion never ends.

"Millie" from Pittsfield, Massachusetts~

Hi Sue:

Well it is time for a Millie update. Millie has turned out to be quite the pup. She has now started

to take up singing. We have a belly rub song which when we start to sing it Millie will join in with us.

She takes her singing very seriously. And yes she likes her belly rubs. Millie is the queen of the neighborhood. Seems like everyone knows her.



We have noticed a few more Cocker Spaniels around. The people up the street have a black Cocker with just one little white spot on his chest. His name is Oreo. He has the same pleasant, friendly disposition that Millie has.



We had some renovations done to the second floor and hallway. Millie just took to the workers.

When they would arrive in the morning Millie was there to greet them. The person in charge told Millie that I have to change our will so that she would go to him if anything happened to us.



We are doing fine and Kathy is looking forward to retirement this November.

Just a short note to say hello and tell you how much I enjoy your High Calling Cocker Blog. Your two newest babies are so adorable and I really enjoy following their growing up into personality plus little pups.
What a great idea to list the "dog parents" after each new blog entry. In the past I have tried to guess who they might be; not always successfully I might add - except when it came to Tic Tac's offspring. He has a unique coloring that seems to surface in all his puppies, certainly it has in Little Miss Emily.
I found myself laughing right out loud as I read Dot's story about Watson and his potty training pads. I think he is the cutest little guy ever.
Have to say good-by for now as it is time for one of Emily's daily outings. Take care and I hope all is well with Mike and your family. Be sure and try to rest up Mama Sue, as June looks as though it is going to be a very busy month for you.

Just wanted to share a few more photos of Watson. He finally showed me he can jump up onto the couch now. He was so proud of himself. He blends in well with couch. Totally color cordinated. Watson has been a little upset with the weather, He loves being outside with all the different things for him to explore and look at. I hope everyone is well at the Martin household. I am sure I will have more pictures to come. I have been taking alot with my new camera.

She has more personality than all of our other cockers put together!

Dear Sue:


Here are some pictures that I took this morning of Twinkle. Isn't she BEAUTIFUL?!!!

She is getting to be such a good little girl! Some of the pictures include her favorite stuffed toy, "Mr. Foxy", who she really, really loves! She is so smart! She is such a character!! I think she's almost 11 months old now or will be on the 18th, and I can't believe it!



How are you and Mike doing? I hope all is well, and you're finally enjoying a little spring weather! It continues to be cold here in Minnesota, but at least the snow is all gone! What a blessing! Next week we're supposed to have highs of 60 something every day! That will be glorious!



I look forward to hearing from you, Sue, whenever you get a chance. I think of you so often, and always say a little prayer that God will continue to watch over you and yours and bless you all abundantly!

Hello!

Here are a couple shots of Disney from our recent trip to Virginia.

He looks so cute as a puppy. I have been holding back on getting him a hair cut because he just looks so cuddly.

He loves to roll on his back to have his tummy scratched. Still tries to engage our Cockapoo in play; but Pixie just looks at him like, "I'm too old for this". Pixie is 9 1/2 yrs old.

Disney knows where we keep his dog food, his leash, and of course, his treats. He gets a treat after he goes to the bathroom outside. Once he is done, he runs to the front door, and then runs to the pantry. Once I open the door, he puts his paws on our doggy shelf with all the "goodies".
I just filled out his AKC registration papers today. I'm a little behind on paper work. This coming week he goes to the vet for his last set of shots.

Hi Sue!! Just wanted to let you know Gideon graduated from his puppy class, he did very well!! His teacher thinks he should try agility training. We need a little more work before he can get his good citizens award to go into the nursing homes. I know he will get there though he is so eager to please
