Hunter~ NY State

Hunter is one of my past parti-colored puppies. Although I no longer raise the "parti's", all of my puppies will always hold a special place in my heart.

Hunter's mother, Ilona, says,

"Here is Hunter on Christmas morning. He was not happy with that on his head, but it did look cute for the few minutes that it lasted. :)"

Heidi from NY State~

As you can see, Heidi hasn't yet gone to the groomers, but Woody and she
had a wonderful Christmas! We did too!!

Here is Heidi with "Aunt Debra".

A blessed Christmas from Heidi, NY State~

Dear Sue,

First, let me wish you and your family a very blessed Christmas and
New Year filled with God's richest blessings.

Enclosed are a few of our feeble attempts at pictures. If we wait much
longer she will be full grown. Our dream was to have a Christmas
picture of Heidi and Woody in front of the baby Jesus. After repeated
attempts we gave up. Actually, when we first put the figures out,
Heidi ran up to the infant and kissed Him on the lips. It was so sweet
and spontaneous. Over the next few weeks we will look for
opportunities to catch some better photos. She is due to be groomed
again, but I am hesitant to have her trimmed in this bitter cold
weather. Heidi is such a joy for all of us and I thank-you again. She
has the run of the place and sleeps in my bed. What a life! Woody
sleeps with Debra and likes some rest from her at night, as she wants
to mess with him constantly.

Love & Prayers,
Sharynne

Millie...Christmas in Massachusetts!

Attached is Millie's Christmas picture. She is still quite the little pup. No matter how bad of day she is always at the door when I come home with her little nub wiggling and just so happy to see me. It makes everything better. Sometimes I this we should be like dogs. They have the best outlook on life.
Love,
Bill, Kathy and Millie

Hi Sue,
I thought you would enjoy this sweet picture. Lyla graduated with
honors from puppy school this week. She learned all the basics like
sit, stay, down, come etc. It was so much fun (and she is so smart)
that we are considering enrolling in the next class which would
continue with all the basics plus introduce some new things. We'll
see...
Merry Christmas!

Jackie

Bella....from North Carolina~

Good Morning Sue,

Bella finally landing after an exciting first Christmas. This is quickly becoming one of her favorite spots, on the couch in front of our wood stove!

Today she's bouncing around "searching" for any unopened boxes or suspicious toy critters lurking under the end tables. Bella has brought joy and laughter into our home and I want to thank you again for all the care and blessings you share though your special, gifted work!

May Christ continue to shower his love and blessings upon you and your family.

Love and Puppy Kisses,
Cherrie' and Bella

Cubby & Bailey~ (and little Jakey) Florida~

Merry Christmas everyone! Santa Dog is almost here!

Blessings from Sparky~ Illinois

Hello "Mommy Sue",
This is "Sweet Sparky" from icy and Snowy Astoria, Illinois.
I wish I could send you a Christmas picture, but unfortunately the weather is so bad that my "Mommy Linda", has not been able to get to town for over a week, and so she cannot get any pictures developed. Due to icy roads my first family Christmas has been cancelled until Sunday. On Sunday I will get to met some more of my family. I just love people. The LP gas man came the other day and I just loved him. He picked me up and I tried to get his glasses. My "Mommy Linda" had to rescue him from me. What fun I had with him! I am now jumping up on the sofa. My "Mommy" wants me to be on the sofa because she said the other doggies before me slept on the sofa and she wants me to be able to do the same. She says it is comforting to have a dog by her. That sounds pretty neat to me. Oh by the way my Mommy said "thank you" for giving her the idea about how to protect me and the Christmas tree. You told her some people put play pens and doggy pens around them. Well she did not have any of those things, but did have a baby crib so she used two of the sides and put them in front of the tree. Our tree sits in the corner and that was all that was needed to keep me from jumping on it.
Even though I do not have a picture to send, my "Mommy" said we should write so we could wish you a most "Blessed Merry Christmas and good Healthy New Year to all the Martin family, and all the High Calling Cockers! I also hope all my brothers and sisters have a wonderful first Christmas and New Year in their new homes! One more thing my "Mommy" says even though I came in August I am the best Christmas present ever!
God Bless you all.
Love,
Sparky and Linda

Christmas Came! Bella from North Carolina!

Mama Sue, Mama Sue!

It's Christmas! I was so surprised when I went into the front room this morning! In my bed was a large white and black dog with a small white and tan friend!! I ran toward them, stopped, stretched my nose as far as I could. I was so startled my back leg began to shake, I backed all the way across the room. I wasn't going to go near those "whatever they are!" It wasn't until my Mom picked them up, played with them and called softly to me that I finally came to investigate. When Mom squeaked the toys that was it, time for a game of fetch and catch me if you can.

Mom took lots of pictures of me and my new toys! I was such a silly girl, just wait until next year! I'll be ready. We watched a special program that had lots of singing and piano playing! I love to listen to the music. I think I still remember the music from your house because I always stop and listen when Mom goes to your web site.

I've got loads to do so I'd better hurry! I haven't even eaten my special turkey dinner!! I've been too busy today!

Merry Christmas to all!

Puppy smiles and tons of kisses,
Your special Princess Bella

The Laugh Lady~

I found the neatest website today. It is called "The Laugh Lady" by Mary Pierce. She has some wonderful "ponderings" about Christmas preparation. Very inspirational!
If you have a spare moment, please take the time to enjoy her site. Here is the link:

It is soooooooo worth it!

Lani Angelette...such a pretty girl~

Lani didn't like the bows the groomer put in her ears, but they were "Christmasy", so we took a few more pictures before they had to come out. She then laid down for a LONG nap!

We hope you enjoy these pictures one-millionth as much as we enjoyed our Saturday with our precious puppy! We LOVE this dog, and we feel so blessed to have her.

Love, Ken & Pam

Lani~ Visit with Santa :")

After we picked Lani up from the groomer, she went to a local pet store, and had her photo taken with Santa. Lani was SO good, and SO cute, everyone just absolutely loved her! (Us too!) A lady who worked at the pet store told us that she had never seen such a beautiful coat on a dog! We weren't surprised to hear that... However, since that store sold puppies, we decided NOT to tell her where to buy Cocker Spaniel puppies.... We knew you wouldn't sell to a store anyway.

Lani~ Snowfall :")

Many people have commented on Lani's eyelashes. They are SO long, the groomer says it would be a shame to trim them. As long as they don't bother her, we agree. They are, to say the least, outstanding! :)

Lani also saw her first real accumulation of snow today. Although it was just a ground covering, she was amazed by it all. She would jump to try to catch the snowflakes, and push it around on the ground with her nose. I chased her around with the camera, and finally got her to stand still enough for a picture with snow on her face and ears.

Lani Angelette~ December 2008

Hello, Sue! We hope you and all of your family are well, and wish you all a GREAT Christmas and New Year!

Lani had a full day today. First thing this morning, she went to the groomer. When we went to pick her up, the groomer told us that she rarely ever sees a dog come in with as nice a coat as Lani has. And she is VERY busy, with a VERY popular grooming business. We just told her where she needs to buy a High Calling Cocker Spaniel puppy! :)
