"Ranger" from Hot Springs Village, Arkansas~

Hi Susan,

Sorry to hear about your medical issues. We are sending good wishes to you!

Ranger was running out to get the paper as he does every morning, and dislocated his knee! To avoid surgery, he had to stay immobile for FOUR WEEKS! He was such a good boy. This video was at the end of the third week when his patience was wearing a little thin. Fortunately, his knee heeled wonderfully and he is back to normal, although his lab sister, Heidi, now has the "get the paper" duties.

Sad news~

Dot and Dennis with Mr. Watson

Dot with Mr. Wyatt

Sitting here in tears from news I just discovered.  My heart breaks to share with you that our precious "Dot", who owned "Mr. Watson" and "Mr. Wyatt" passed away at home in North Tonawanda on June 11th. Cancer once again takes its toll. May the good Lord comfort Dennis and Dot's family at this sad time. Please keep them all in your prayers.  Rest in peace, dearest friend.  I will always love you.

"Miss Mia" from St. James, New York~

Hi Sue –

Just a quick note to say hi and let you know we continue to love and adore our little Mia which you sent to us in Nov 2010. My son Alex and I met you in Syracuse to bring her home with us. We had just lost our other Cocker (Nina) and with Alex being home for 4 months prior to enlisting in the Army, it was great for him to have this time with our puppy.

I remember that your son had just completed his ROTC training and had been commissioned. I hope he is doing well in his military career. My daughter is now in her junior year in Nursing at UVM and has accepted an Army ROTC contract. She loves it all. And we just got back from Fort Bragg NC where Alex received his ‘green beret’, and will be assigned to the 3rd group at Fort Bragg. He expects to be deployed to Afghanistan this year. I can’t wait for him to be home with us for leave this summer, and spend time with his ‘puppy’.

God speed to you and your family. I love looking at your web site. It is truly an inspiration.

Linda

Remembering those who have given all to their country.
Hoping you are doing well.

Note from Sue~

Wasn't this a beautiful Memorial Day tribute? I am so sorry I didn't get it on the blog when it would have made the most impact. God bless all of our troops...both current, and past.
