"Yogi" from Princeton, West Virginia~

Susan

I was just trying to post some pictures of us with Yogi. We took him last Wednesday to our Parkway home and just returned yesterday. My brother brought his pekingnese and Yogi was so glad to have a buddy. They played so well together.

Yogi is adapting pretty well I think. We are working on house breaking and manners J He loves to eat…I have been feeding him ¼ cup of food 3 times a day and he devours the food. So he is a very good eater.

At night he whines for a long time wanting out of his crate, so a couple of times we have caved in because we needed sleep. I know a companion would help him adjust to the crate which is in our dining room.

I just dearly love Yogi and so does everyone that meets him. They all express what an unusual coat color and eye color. He is a sweetheart. I am going to attach a few pics so you can see his fun-filled weekend.

Sorry I hadn’t written sooner but we also started our online summer class last Monday and that takes a lot of time the first week to get it going. Thanks for emailing and you absolutely have the best cockers ever!
Your WV friends,

DEB & Geoff

"Miss Emily" from Quincy, Massachusetts~

Hi Mama Sue,

Hope you had a nice Mother's Day, my mom sure did! When I first came out
to the kitchen and saw the presents on the table, I was very excited for I thought
oh boy--presents for me. My excitement, however, was short-lived as I heard my
brother say, NO Ems those presents are for mom not you. (Just so you know, Mama
Sue, most of the presents that come into the house are for me).
We spent a lovely day in the backyard planting flowers and of course, as you can see,
by the picture I am sending along; I was on my "daily mission" to check the bird bath and
feeder to see what visitors there might be. Some I let stay and some I don't; I let the little
birds stay around, but not those blue-jays. I'm not sure exactly why, but they annoy me; it could
be that they aren't nice to the other birds. I'll give this idea some more thought and let you
know for sure.
Last week I went to see Willow, my groomer, and she gave me my regular "summer do." We
did try the long hair for awhile, but honestly Mama Sue - it just wasn't me. Admittedly most girl
cockers are feminine little ladies, but not me - I've been a tomboy from the get-go and this short
do suits me and my personality. Hope I haven't disappointed you by saying this, but I am what I am.
I enjoy hikes in the woods, stalking insects, swimming in the lake up in Vermont, and playing chase the ball,
just to mention a few of my favorite things.
By the way all your new babies sure are cute. Mama says little Miss Hannah looks a lot like me when
I was a baby. Rosie and Cubby sure do have beautiful babies. It's time for me to check out the backyard
again so I guess I'll say good-by for now.
Love you Mama Sue,

Your Little Emily

Disney from Silver Springs, Maryland~

Hi Sue,

I wanted to send some recent photos of Disney. He has now been living with us for a little over a year. He recently got his hair cut short. But even short, you can see how pretty his hair is. It just shines and is so silky.

Again, like last time, I wasn't able to take pictures of him being still unless it was while he was eating his favorite -- chewies. Here are some pics of Disney with our other dog who is much older. She tries to be patient with his boundless energy. She had a chewy too, although smaller than Disney's. You can see the last of it in between her tiny paws. The last picture in this series of chewy photos is a somewhat sad looking one. The the chewy is all gone.

Many thanks for Disney. He is such a happy boy! Happy Springtime to you and yours.

"Cyrus" from Victor, New York~

Hi Sue:

Don’t I look all grown up at a little over 5 months. I look like a big boy. I weight 20 ½ pounds already.

He is very solid and getting very strong. He loves to play with his brothers (Carter and Charlie) and big sister (Xena the German Shepherd).
He is in Obedience – AKC STAR Puppy Program and will graduate May 22nd. He is doing very well with his obedience. The trainers remark how he acts older than 5 months. He still likes to be held and cuddled though.

"Ranger" from Hot Springs Village, Arkansas~

Hi Sue,

Ranger has been a busy little boy! He went camping at Branson, MO with his mom and dad and "sister" and really likes the outdoors! We're going down to Austin, TX camping this summer.

Ranger continues to amaze us with how smart he is! When he has to go outside to potty, he rings the bells by the door and lets us know! He's also learning manners. When someone comes to visit, he'll sit calmly at the door; everyone raves about how polite he is! He's going to be a wonderful Reading Therapy dog!

Tomorrow is a big day, though. He's going to the doctor to have a little "operation." Can't believe he's five months old already! We love him so much and are so happy he came all the way to Arkansas to be with us!

Thank you, Sue!

What a week I've had!  It started last Saturday, when my daughter Cheryl, my daughter in law, Rachel, my granddaughter Layla and I left for Ohio to attend my daughter Jeffie's (Jennifer) bridal shower.  We had a lovely time!  From there we traveled through the southern states all the way down to Savannah, Georgia to pay a surprise visit to my son, David who is in the ARMY.  Our visit was short but it was truly wonderful to see him again.  I wanted to share some pictures of our trip.  I hope you enjoy them!

"Gracie" from Raleigh, North Carolina~

Hi Sue,

I was able to get one cute photo of Gracie after she was groomed today. She is so sweet with pretty pink bows on her ears and a big happy smile! The groomers just love her and so do the good people at the veterinarian's office. It is such fun to be the mommy of such a star.

Happy Spring to you and your family!

Alane

"Taffy" from Westbury, New York~

Hi Susan,

I'm sending along a few more pictures of Taffy just home from the groomers. Also, her new trick...begging for a yummy treat. She's such a sweetie!!!

We're probably a little prejudice, but we think Taffy is one of your prettiest pups.

She is small and gorgeous, with the sweetest face, and a loving disposition.

She is especially attached to my husband and won't come to bed until he comes to bed. (she's a daddy's girl)

We are so happy to have found you. You are a special person, that even after you sell your puppies, you still care and want to know that they are well cared for and loved.

Thank you for our sweet Taffy and know she will always be cherished.

Hugs back to you, and wet kisses from Taffy. :-)
