Hi Sue!
Buffalo has gotten so much coverage with this storm. It has been terrible. Bentley could not get out to back yard as we had a 7 foot drift up against the back of the house and patio door. We could not get out of the front door either!!!! We were able to open garage door and was greeted by a wall of snow! Thank goodness I had got 5 gallons of gas for the snow blower Monday. My neighbours did not have any gas so my husband made prototype snowshows (pic attached) and then finally made giant snowshows....we are at a cup de sac so it was a long venture across the street. We had at least 5 feet in the street!

Tom woke my up at 430 am today....he said hurry, get up I just heard a large crack. thinking that our roof was coming down.....thankfully it was a big chunk of snow/ice came down and took out some of my fence on the side of house along with gutter.....other than that I can't get back there to see if there is more damage. Enjoy the video and pictures. Temps getting close to 60 next day or so with high wind potential.
Happy turkey day....at this rate we may be eating turkey sandwiches from the deli as Lackawanna still has a driving ban and tickets are going for $150 each..no thanks!

I am involved in a Choir at a large church that puts on a beautiful Candlelight Advent Service
every year.  This is one of the numbers we'll be singing.  It commemorates the Lord's soon return,
and the journey we all undertake while waiting.  This one is written with a southern spiritual theme.
