High Calling Update~ This & That~

To my High Calling Cocker family,

Sitting here tonight both happy and apprehensive.   Tomorrow we will be delivering Snuggie's puppies to their new families.  Each family is special, and will be enriched with the addition of their new family member.  I am happy for these families, and happy for the puppies.  I am always delighted to know that they will now have individual attention and be taught by their new families how to become the best dogs ever.

I have been "down" the past few days, in prayer most all of the time, for our son Chad and his wife.  Their new baby girl was born 16 weeks early on July 18th.  This pregnancy started out with what we were originally incorrectly told was "twin boys".   A few weeks ago, one of the babies was miscarried (a boy) and my son scooped up both Mom and this little babe (who was too early to survive) and traveled to the hospital.  Baby number two has since been carried "inside" Mama very carefully for the past few weeks, and Annette made it to 24 weeks.  Thankfully she was in the hospital when she went into labor, and had an emergency C-section.  Baby Madison came into the world weighing 1 lb 3.6 ozs. and is 11 1/2 inches long.  There are 41 babies in the neonatal unit and Madison is the smallest one.  I would appreciate your prayers.  She has had some problems, but we are believing for a miracle.  Thank you one and all for holding her up to the Lord in prayer.

Blessings on your weekend~

Sue
