Drummer from Grand Junction, Colorado~
Dearest Sue!
I'm sorry that I'm not keeping in touch as often. I have been so busy here
that I don't get much time on the computer.
I saw that all of Starr's beautiful puppies have forever homes! I'm so happy
for them (and for you!)! I'm sure that each of those families will love their
new family member as much as we love ours! Drummer is SUCH a blessing and
brings so much joy to our lives. Even in the midst of troubles you can't help
but smile at that beautiful happy face looking up at you - waiting for you to
throw the tennis ball again!
Glenn is healing to the doctor's satisfaction. His arm is still weak and has
limited mobility, but there are small improvements as time goes on. He starts
occupational therapy tomorrow and that may help to strengthen his arm and hand
(eventually!).
I continue to go with Glenn to some of his clients to help with writing. He is
allowed to write now, but he has to be careful that he doesn't overdo. That's
where I come in. I am his hands for many things that continue to be beyond
him.
Drummer is thoroughly enjoying the cold and snow. Tonight is a little TOO cold
for either of us - it's supposed to be -7 degrees tonight! Not a record, but
that's pretty cold for Grand Junction. It will warm up again by the weekend.
Believe it or not, I have DAFFODILS coming up! I think that they are confused.
It hasn't been warm at all! Anyway, Drummer loves to play in the snow and his
little nose is constantly shoveling the snow aside as he races around the
yard! LOL!
You have been in my thoughts and prayers. I saw on Starr's page that you
suffered the loss of someone close to your family and I am so sorry. I pray
that the Lord will give you His comfort and peace.
I've attached a couple of pictures of Drummer. I can't remember if I sent one
of him draped over the chair or not, so forgive me if that is a repeat.
Thank you so much for our wonderful little guy! Rest assured that he is
GREATLY loved!
Big Hugs!
Mary :o)
