It has been several months since you have heard from Kringle and I. We are doing great! We moved into a new house and we are just getting settled in. There is a lot of work involved in moving out and moving in to a new house. We like it here a lot better though. Kringle and I have a nice back yard all fenced in the back, far away from the road. When it is nice out we stay out and play almost all day! We have a big water bowl, a big bowl of crunchies, and a whole lot of toys to shred. We even have a loveseat in the back yard to play on or sleep on if we get tired. When it is cold out, we can only play outside for a short time cause mommy said it is too cold for us. We will be getting snow here soon. It is cold up here in the hills. We had sleet and rain together the other day. We love to play in the snow, but we hate getting wet in the rain. When it rains we have to stay in. We don't like that.
We just went to the hair salon a couple weeks ago. Mom & dad said we look like cocker spaniels again instead of perm heads! My bangs were getting so long, mommy said it looked like I got a perm on the top of my head,lol.
Mommy & Daddy have to go to the store about once every week or every two weeks to buy us new toys. Kringle shreds them all, even mine and Arnold's. He pulls all the stuffing's out and gives them back to us. We don't want to play with them any more cause there is nothing to play with except a rag with drool on it. What fun is that?
We are spoiled mom & dad say. We get lots of toys, and treats. We got to chew on a beef bone the other day, and a bully stick. The bully stick is good for our teeth, it is natural, and we have no problems with getting anything stuck in our belly or bum. I have a more sensitive tummy than Kringle. He will eat ANYTHING, not me though. He likes to pull his rubber toys apart and eat them, so he can't have those kinds of toys no more.
We get to be on the couch with mom and dad. I always climb everything and sit on the back of the couch. I think I am part Billygoat. Kringle has short stout legs and has a hard time jumping on the bed. Not me though, I have daddy long legs!
We have chickens that run around and we like to watch them. Our big brother Arnold chased one the other day and he got in trouble, lol. We told him Mommy said we can't do that, and he went and did it anyway. We didn't get in any trouble though, we were good!
We try to go for a ride, and I kinda like riding. I like to have my ears flop in the breeze. Arnold loves the car. He tried to tell us we can go to the parks and stuff, but we have to like the car so we can get there.
We got weighed the other day and we weigh 28 lbs. Kringle feels like he weighs a 100 lbs. when he is picked up. He has a short round solid body, I have daddy long legs and I am much taller. We weigh the same though, hard to believe I say. lol.
Kringle is the alpha dog in the house. It use to be Arnold, but since Arnold and Kringle get along so well, Arnold let him be the alpha. Kringle watches over me and Arnold, and mommy and daddy. He is brave and vocal. If he doesn't like someone or feels they will harm any of us, he stands in front of us. I just hide behind Kringle cause I know he won't let anyone or anything hurt me he protects me. I am shy a bit, but surely not Kringle. I am a very happy go lucky "can we play now?" kinda pup.
We love the kitties. They are playful with us now. The only kitty we can't play with is Rusty and Mouse. They are STILL afraid of us, and we will get scratched if we try. Sometimes we just tease them to get them going. Of course we get in trouble for harassing the cat. Oh well, we had fun while it lasted, lol.
Arnold and Kringle get along really well. Mommy and Daddy say that Kringle is Bailey reincarnated. I don't know who Bailey is, but I guess he was loved a lot. Kringle does all the stuff Bailey use to do. He eats everything, he scrounges the floor for food crumbs, lays on his back all the time, rips his toys apart ( and everyone else's ), protects us, and is lovely too.
We love our family very much.
If mom or dad has to go somewhere we go into our kennels until they get home. When Kringle sees daddy his whole entire body wiggles, not just his stump tail. When he sees mommy he gets excited, but not like his daddy. I am a mama's boy. I love to rub my head all over the blankets and snuggle in them. Kringle cuddles with daddy on the couch a lot. I rather play with everything. I am very lovey when I am tired. I like to love mommy when I am tired and ready for bed.
Well, I guess I should go. We want to go outside and play now. The sun is out today. It has been cold and rainy for a few days, can't wait to go out and play!! I have attached a new 10 month old picture of us, so you can see how handsome we are. Hope you like it.
