Emily from Quincy, Massachusetts~
Hi Mama Sue,
It's me Emily, from Quincy, MA. My brother Tim was able to fix the computer so now I can send you pictures of my latest trip to Vermont. Mommy and Daddy took me up to Vermont for a week before my "little lady surgery." We had a great time. The weather was really nice and I got to do a lot of outside exploring.
We took the ferry across Lake Champlain and I sat on Daddy's lap the whole time. Another day we hiked a trial on Mt Mansfield in Manchester, VT. I had a lot of good smells on this trip; my nose was to the ground most of the time. I sure like exploring. Mommy says the highlight of the trip for her was watching me play down at the lake. There was no one there but us. I ran from the grass to the sand and then into the water - over and over again. It was great fun for me and Mom was laughing so much at me that she could barely keep the camera steady to take pictures. I'm a very fast runner Mama Sue and I sure enjoy a good run.
When I was very small I would sleep over a shoulder when we were driving; but now that I am grown my favorite traveling mode is in the front seat, with my body resting on a soft pad and my head on Daddy's leg.
As you know, I had my "little lady operation" on October 14th. It was a day surgery procedure so I was home by 5 pm with my family. The operation was a "cake-walk" for me and I was very good at wearing my soft E-collar. Next Friday I am going to see Willow, my groomer, who makes me look pretty ( I am in need of a trim big time).
I hope you have a nice Thanksgiving. I am not sure what Thanksgiving is but I hear there will be a lot of good smells coming from the kitchen and I sure like good smells. Until next time...love to you Mama Sue!
Your little Emily
