You would have been so proud of Archie. Last night he provided therapy to an 8 year old little girl from my congregation who has osteoporosis and needs to get blood drawn periodically. She freaks out so her mother tells me and screams her head off. The little girl met Archie at church and just loves him and her mom had the idea to have Archie there to see if his presence makes a difference. She fed Archie bits of cheese as she was having her lab work done with only a few tears and some stroking of Archie's ears. Mom and the lab techs were ecstatic that it went so wel!! And of course so was I, I was so very proud of how calm Archie remained with all of the strange people in the room and the unique situation. We sat right aside of her as she had this done and thank God it went well.
