Sue,
Day #4 ! Wow ! She is becoming quite the big girl.

She is VERY independent. Knows exactly what she likes and DON'T like.

She does not like to be carried around, inside or outside. She likes

to do everything herself. She is very persistant. We have stairs that go

to the furniture and my bed for her brother (Scooby) due to his knees and she

finally mastered them last night! She was so proud of herself you have no idea!!

Her little butt wiggled for hours as she got on and off the furniture all by herself..ha ha

She is very playful and doesn't like to be cuddled unless she is tired, but she

loves to chase everyone including the cat. One bat to the head and a little

interference from her big brother in her defense and a mutual respect seems

to have been established (unless of course the cat tries to play with her toys

then its fair game, lol) The cat secretly loves the dogs she just likes to play

hard to get :) I caught her cuddling up to Lacey last night in bed.

Still no accidents in the house, unbelievable!! She took to the routine very quickly

and it is posted on the fridge so everyone is consistent. I am so proud of her!! At

first when she was outside she would chase the dog but would not stray far from me

now she runs and runs. She is so smart and so sure of herself for such a tiny little being.

She plays with every flower, weed and or stick she can find. Everything is exciting to her!

It is so fun to watch her and share in all her first experiences.

Still sleeps through the night but absolutely HATES her crate. She howls so bad even

Scooby feels sorry for her, he will sit outside her crate and he will cry to.

So she sleeps with me! (I know bad idea) but Scooby and Scrappy (the cat) sleep in there so it seems only fair.

And she slept from 930pm until 530am. Can't ask for anything more then that!

She will still have to go in crate for our outings so we are practicing putting her in there

for short periods while we go outside to do yardwork, quick trip to the store and to swim

in the pool. Hopefully she will get it soon.

We are so happy to have her. She is just so much easier then I thought she would be.

And sooooooo beautiful. She is very vocal, so when she looks up at me with those eyes

and makes her little grunts and an occasional bark my heart just melts.

She goes to the vet, week after next, I am sure she will do fine. I have some pictures of her

playing outside. Will send them later tonight.

Thank you again for everything

Take Care,

Chris
