Emily from Quincy, Massachusetts~
Hi Mama Sue,
It's me Emily from Quincy, Massachusetts. I wanted to let you know that I am just fine and love my new home and family. They are so crazy about me Mama Sue that my first couple of days here my little paws barely touched the ground because I kept getting picked up to be kissed and hugged. I wanted you to see my backyard. It's a good place to play, plenty of running room and completely fenced in.
After an hour outside playing, I come in for a nap in my bed in the kitchen
although as you can see, I enjoy every bed in the house.
Neighbors have stopped by to meet me and play ball with me in the yard. I already know my name and can climb the back stairs with no trouble at all. However, going down those seven stairs is another story. I can leap off the bottom two stairs and land on all fours in the mulch with no trouble at all. My toy bag is full of balls and stuffed animals to play with and I like them, but my favorite thing is to undo shoe laces.
In a couple of weeks we are heading up to Vermont. I'll send pictures of my first hike on a trail in the mountains.
I hope my sister and brothers are as happy in their new homes as I am in mine. Thank you for letting me come here Mama Sue, my family really needed me.
Lots of Love,
Emily
