Dear Mama Sue,
My mom got this plaque in England over 20 year ago--that's a lot of dog years! I'm certainly living up to it as I seem to attract all kinds of dirt and water and twigs wherever I go! They make me dry off when I come in the house but I don't really like that very much and bite the towel.
I'm doing fine. I went to the vet man again, and I weigh a whole 12.2 pounds! I got to meet my nephew, Hamlet, this weekend. He's actually a 9.5-year-old dachshund. He has his crabby moments, but we also played a lot. In fact, I even learned how to get up on the furniture trying to get at him!
I'm getting along better with my brother Chip, and he even lets me cuddle with him sometimes! But he also plays with me during the day with all these great toys we have.
My mom and dad say I'm more like a springer spaniel at times because I have SOOOO much energy. I'm just trying to make them sleep well at night! I still haven't figured out how to get over these new gates they have, but I'm pretty determined to figure it out. They have all these ponds with koi outside, and because the weather is so nice, they started up this waterfall, which was really nice and cool to splash through as a shortcut to the other side of the yard!
