Drummer Boy from Grand Junction, Colorado~

Hi, Sue!

I'll try to get an email off to you while Drummer is asleep!

Drummer arrived safe and sound. He was an angel in his
crate as we drove home. We did potty breaks with him, but it was awfully cold
for him in the mountains. It wasn't until the last hour that he got a bit
fussy - and I don't blame him! LOL! That was a LOOOONG time to be stuck in a
little travel crate.

We are still trying to adjust and recuperate from the trip to and from Denver.
The drive TO Denver was rather nasty and it took us almost twice as long as
normal. We were thankful that we had a good vehicle to get us there and home.

We did hand-feed Drummer as soon as we opened the crate at the airport. He's
been eating, drinking, and playing just fine. He slept for 5 hours last night
and I managed to get him to sleep one hour more (after taking him potty)
before we got up for the day. Potty training is rather hit and miss. He's
doing a little better today (or maybe I am! LOL!), with only one accident so
far.

Thanks so much for such a beautiful puppy!

Big Hugs!
