"Mr. Watson" and "Mr. Wyatt" from North Tonawanda, New York~
Hello Sue,
I have been meaning to write to you, Every time I think about it I get preoccupied. I hope your holidays were wonderful with your loved ones. 2 of my daughters were home so we had a wonderful holiday. Trying to get enough energy to go back to work and feel like I have some of my life back. The boys are doing great. They are my rock when I am having a bad day and just lay next to me and give me a lot of love when they know I need it.
I became a grandma again on January 13th 2014 to Caleb Andrew. He was 8lbs 15 oz and 22 inches long. Should be able to hold him in summer when they finally come back to the states, my daughter said they are trying to get Camp Legune in North Carolina.
Well I hope Mike and you are doing fine and enjoying the south.
I enclosed pics of my grandson and my precious Gloria. Also pics of the boys with my daughter Kat when she was home for Christmas.
Hope to hear from you soon

"Ranger" from Hot Springs Village, Arkansas~
Hi,
Ranger is now a full-fledged therapy dog! This is the article that appeared in the Hot Springs Therapy Group newsletter. He is such a sweet little puppy!
Hope you and your family are doing well. I check out your blog quite frequently.

FEATURED PET OF THE MONTH
"The plane has landed! He's here"
My previous cocker spaniel passed away several years ago. I finally realized I was ready to let another "wiggle butt" into my heart, so I scoured the internet and finally found the breeder that met all my needs. However, she happened to be located in Wilson, NY! My new "baby", Ranger, was born December 3, 2011 and eight weeks later he was on a plane flying to Little Rock, AR!
Ranger was a sweet, good-natured puppy right from the start-also very bright! I also shared with the breeder that I wanted Ranger to be a therapy dog, so even his first few weeks were surrounded by kindness. When he was a year old, I enrolled him in the Canine Good Citizen course and he passed! He and his yellow lab "sister", Heidi, were certified as Hot Springs Therapy Dogs the next year. I have always been very passionate about literacy, so it was an easy progression for Ranger to become a certified R.E.A.D. ® dog, (Reading Education Assistance Dog).
After my retirement, Ranger and I want to become much more active in Therapy Dog visits as well as doing "Reading with Ranger" programs. In the visits that we have done, Ranger has proven to be a friendly, loving friend to everyone he meets. His little tail never stops wagging. He definitely has lived up to his nickname, "wiggle Butt'.
Thank You

"Mr. Archie", "Mr. Toby" and "Miss Jingles" from Fleetwood, Pennsylvania~
We got more snow today, about 10 inches total. The doggies don't know what to do with this deep snow. We are supposed to get several more inches tomorrow night. Jingles has acquired a taste for the snow and has to eat some each time she goes out. Archie, Toby, and Jingles continue to do well and are a joy to Tim and me. They greet Tim as he comes home and the boys rollover for belly rubs while Jingles walks over them to be first in line to be petted!
Sue, thanks for keeping your blog going. I enjoy seeing how the other High Calling Cockers are doing. We hope that you and Mike are doing well and are happy with your timely move to the south.
God Bless!
"Mr. Archie", "Mr. Toby" and "Miss Jingles" from Fleetwood, Pennsylvania~
Hi Sue,
More snow yet again up here in Fleetwood,PA! The dogs are on the back porch waiting for the OK for a treat. Toby and Archie "wait" really well, but Jingles not as patient yet. Jingles may not enjoy walking in the snow but she does enjoy eating it and we are supposed to get 6-9inches of that yummy stuff! The weather was warmer (into the 40's) this past weekend but colder once again. My dogs are the highlights of my life, with always a kiss for me on those busy days. And looking at those faces is enough to brighten these long winter days. Archie will begin working with children and their families at the Children's Alliance Center next week, this will be something new for us and we'll keep you posted.
How are you and Mike doing? I think of you often, as with this extremely cold winter, you must be so glad that you moved when you did. The continuation of your blog is great as it is always fun to share pictures with others who love this breed. I will try to get you another photo once this snow stops.
God bless you and your family.
Truly yours,
Kathy with smooches from Archie,Toby, and Jingles
"Mr. Disney" is three years old! Happy Birthday, Disney!
Hi Sue,
Here's my baby boy. Hard to keep him still to get a photo. He is always on the go.
He keeps us warm in this cold winter. He likes to sleep on our bed on our pillows. Sometimes he even shares my pillow. He is soooo affectionate.
Take care, Nancy and Joe
