Bonny and Betsy from L'Anse, Michigan~

Hi mamma Sue,
You never did see our picture here in our big chair! Hey, it's me....Bonny. That's that kid Betsy beside me. She sticks to me like glue! She's kinda always bittin' my tail...but that's okay mamma Sue, cause I just sit down on my behinder....then she can't get me!

We do everything together.....even share the same food dish....daddy Syd says we are like a orchestra when we eat together....one of us moves in> while the other one moves
Betsy still steals all my toys mamma Sue, but then again I have learned how to fool her.....if she has the toy I want, I just squeak another toy and when she runs for that one, I get the one she took from me! Ha...guess I'm a pretty slick girl, uh?

Betsy got into trouble the other day....she likes to chew wood, and daddy Syd caughted her chewing a stick of fire wood when he was makin' the fire in the wood stove. Boy, did she ever get yelled at! Hahaha! I NEVER did nothin' naughty when I was little like her, did I mamma Sue?

Well, mamma Sue....daddy Syd is callin' us for bedtime, so's I gotta go now. I still think I am your bestest peanut ever!!! You ain't forgot your peanut have you?....I guess you better not! I love you...and tell that guy Mike we send him a sloppy kiss. Betsy slobbers over everything! UGH!

Mommy Sharon says to tell you.....
Sincerely,
Bonny Wee Lass and Betsy Mavourneen

Heaven is for Real...according to this gentleman~

90 Minutes in Heaven

I enjoyed this short video this evening~  This man talks about what we have ahead of us if we know the way...  the way to heaven is through Jesus Christ.  If we know HIM, we know the way.

A very special video~

This is a video of my son, three grandchildren, and their friends from their church.  They did a great job!
That's my son on the farthest right with the tan jacket on.  I'm so proud of all of them.  They love the Lord with their whole hearts.  :")

This is a beautiful hymn~

"Ellie" from Morrisonville, New York~

Hi Susan,
After a long winter I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and catching up on things I've wanted to do such as saying Hello to you. We've had the best time with Ellie since we picked her up in November. Last week she was 6 months old so I made a little video to celebrate that. We can't wait to bring her to the Lake this summer and look forward to all the years ahead with our beautiful little girl. Hope all is well with you and your family.

Take Care,

Donna Ferguson

Silver Dusty from Eastport, Maine~

Well...I just came across a lovely Christmas card from John and Marjorie, owners of Silver Dusty!
I am so sorry to be late in getting their picture and note on the blog.

Silver Dusty

From John and Marjorie last December:
Just a note that Silver Dusty is doing fine, outside of being spoiled.  We go to McDonald's once a week for ice cream.  It's been cold and some snow.  Inland tends to get more snow than Moose Island.  The fishermen are busy pulling in the scallops and lobsters.  Gas for the car is $3.20 a gallon.  No inflation here, just higher prices on everything. We with you well.

What a beautiful song!

I've had some requests to show our current puppies on the blog.  Everyone says they miss seeing their little faces.  LOL   So...here are Rosie's babies following their first haircuts.  They will be going to their new homes in a couple of weeks:

Thoughts for today~

I am grieving for the people in Japan, and for friends of mine who are hurting and are in need of healing,,,,in particular, Susan, Mary and Baby Luke. The two videos that I just posted are from my heart. May the good Lord comfort those who mourn, and be there to help those who need Him now.

Dylan from Sevierville, Tennessee~

Hi Sue
Thought you might like to see this shot of Dylan at 6 months. He is 22 pounds, passed basic obedience training and is getting along well with his sisters. He's also a genuine sweetheart who loves to give kisses and be cuddled.
Thanks,

Archie and Toby from Fleetwood, Pennsylvania~

Archie and Toby
Hi Sue,

Archie celebrated his 2nd birthday with a bunch of his therapy dog friends! He and 8 of his friends visited a local elementary school to help them with Reading Is Fundamental. We each did a presentation with our dog, telling about the breed and then sharing something about the dog. The children giggled as I told them one of the things that Archie likes is to pull toilet paper off of the roll and if they lived at my house, they would need to be careful with their homework as Archie would eat it if given the chance! I brought along party hats for all of the dogs to wear since it was Archie's birthday, but only the Great White Pyrennes and the Char Pei left their hats on! Archie then was given the Ok to come along with me to work and greeted all of the patients from behind the reception desk. If they did not pay attention to him, he would woof at them, as if to say, "hey don't you see me back here and don't you think I am the cutest thing EVER?"
Toby and Archie once again have their playground back as all of the snow has melted and we ARE NOT GOING TO GET ANY MORE! Toby is now as tall as Archie but not nearly as long and has a smaller head. Archie weighs in at 27.9 pounds with Toby topping the scales at 18.9.

Toby will begin level 3 doggy classes tonight after completing level 2 last week and doing rather well, I might add!

We hope that you and your family are all doing well and you cannot imagine what a blessing from God these 2 little doggies are!

Take care and I will try to send a photo soon,

Love ya,

Kathy

Kirby from Lockport, New York~

My baby & Me!

Hi Sue!

Well, here are the long awaited pictures that were promised to you back in December.  I guess, better late than never!

Kirby is the most wonderful addition to our family.  I can't believe it's been over a year since you placed him in my arms. Since then, he has taken over my heart.

He is my shadow...follows me around the house and then sits patiently waiting for me to make my next move.

Both my sons and my husband adore him.  he is a "big dog" in a little dog's body. He loves toplay and most times we tire out long before he does.

I call him my little monkey boy...he runs around the house faster thant he speed of light!!!

I feel very blessed to have Kirby in my life.  He brings a smile to my face from morning til night.

I'll try to remember to keep in touch periodically to let you know how he's doing.

Kirby sends his kisses...

Take care, and God Bless you and your family.

Sincerely,

Cori, Mike, Alex and Matt

They're back!!!

This is the day I wait for in the springtime each year!!!  My redwinged blackbirds have returned "home". I listen every morning for their distinctive song of springtime. I listened intently first thing this morning, but no, they weren't here yet.  However...when I returned home from taking Mike for his hyperbaric treatments, I spotted some more black birds than usual in the big tree that shades my dog runs. I stopped and listened, and sure enough...there was their distinctive melody.  I have a grin on my face a mile long!  It means springtime has officially arrived at our home, even though there is snow everywhere.  I checked my blog archives to see when they came back last year, and it was March 10th.  So we're three days ahead of schedule!  Praise God for His goodness!  I was worried they wouldn't come this year, since there was that terrible accident of sorts down south where they found thousands of them dead on lawns and in the streets.  They never did find out what caused their demise.  But they have returned, and the promise of springtime is upon us.  They made my day!  Thank You, Lord, for bringing this joy back to my heart!!!

Sue
