Jake from Ravena, New York~

Hi Susan - Jake is so awesome. He is very much loved here in Ravena. The first night he slept well, Thursday he spent the day with me in the office and that evening I had to take one of my daughters to softball, well needless to say the other 3 girls gave him a little too much lovin and he missed them in the evening. We learned that night not to hold him so much and let him sleep so much before he goes to bed :-) We had a storm and my Juliann has been playing in the snow all day, now he is pretty sleepy on the living room floor. I guess that sums it up, he is very much a part of the family and we adore him. We have been without internet but I have taken several photos that I will upload Monday from the office. He is a love.

Mitzi from Henrietta, New York~

Dear Mama Sue,

Just checkin in to let you know I've got it good here!
Do I look comfy or what? I am so lazy today after all the excitement of coming to my new home and all the new things here.
I was a good girl, got up with my new Mom at 2:15AM and then went back to sleep until 6:30AM. Had my Sunday breakfast and then have been just lying around since.
You would be so proud of me! I have been weeing on the papers ever since I got here and have been showing them my best manners.
They are sooo happy to have me here. I had visitors who brought me presents too and thought I am just beautiful. I'll try not to let all this attention go to my head.
Remember how much I will always love you for the good start you gave me when I came into the world.
My new Mom & Dad told me they had a sad and empty hole in their hearts and I am going to make it go away. God had a plan for me.

Kisses to you all and I will keep you posted about my progress.

Shane from Oyster Bay, New York~

Shane met his new daddy today. May they have many, many happy years together!
God bless them both
!
HI Susan:

He is absolutely beautiful! Even more than the pictures can show.
I remember my Springers at 10 or 12 weeks, and they were bigger-being bigger dogs as adults of course. I feel really overprotective of Shane now, until he gets bigger.

Shane is exploring my place now, and is very affectionate. He loves being held, and was just sitting in my lap. But he's getting more relaxed and wants to jump down and play.
He eats and drinks no problem. Any housebreaking tips are welcome. I keep taking him outside for little walks around the house, but it's too soon for him to get the idea. I'll keep it up tonight. I also placed a few puppy pads around.

Thank you, and also thank your daughters for me. It was a very special day.

It was quite a day of driving, and I'm glad to be home. I'll write more tomorrow after I rest a little.

Mitzi from Henrietta, New York~

Oh Sue, Mitzi is just beautiful.!!!!!

Brought Mitzi home and she is settled in already in her new crate and bed, playing with her toys and now taking a nap.
She is a joy already and will fill our empty hearts once again. She is in her forever home and will be adored and have the very best.

Our thanks again to you for your higher calling that brings joy to people like us with your precious babies.

We will be in touch.

Fondly,

Mary Jane

Drummer Boy from Grand Junction, Colorado~

Hi, Sue!

I'll bet it's getting rather quiet at your house! Have you run into weather
problems while trying to deliver puppies? The east coast seems to be getting
slammed repeatedly with winter storms. Has that hindered you in any way?

Drummer is doing great! He is an absolute fuzzy doll! We have been going to
puppy classes where we are reinforcing the training I was doing at home - only
now we do the commands with lots of distractions around! Walking on lead is
getting better, although it is still kind of a 50/50 split - half of the time
he's walking with me and the other half I'm walking with him! LOL! The hardest
thing is when we meet someone on our walks - he goes beserk with exhuberance
at seeing someone new! LOL! I'm trying to teach him to sit politely when
greeting someone, but there is so much pent-up excitement in that little body
that he explodes into a wiggley ball of fur and kisses!!! He can only sit for
a few seconds before he erupts! LOL! And, of course, everyone "oohs" and
"ahhhs" over him when they meet him, so my polite greeting is out the window!

I hope that you will get a little rest once all of your puppies are safely
delivered (to prepare you for the next round!). I'm still praying for a home
for "Smoochie"! How can anyone resist such a cute little guy?

I've attached a couple of pictures of Drummer enjoying the snow last weekend.
He loved this snowball that I rolled and kept digging through it until he had
quite the hole dug! Later he destroyed the entire snowball (he had snow flying
everywhere!). I know that spring is just around the corner (my daffodils are 4
inches high already!), but winter just doesn't want to let go. Drummer has yet
to see our yard without snow!

Talk to you soon!

Smiling and Waving!

Miss Lainey from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada~

Hi Sue, just wanted to say Hello and hope all is well with your family & business.

Lainey, is sooooooooooooooooo growing like a weed. She is a total "Joy" and has a mind of her own. Jag (cat) and Lainey are getting along better every day. Lainey has NOT met a "dog/dog walker" that she doesn't like. They all think she's terrific. We are having so much fun walking --- she's met many of Maddy's old buddies. She is NOT afraid of any size dog. She also travels very well in the car. I love her so much. I've told you she has a huge personality and so much fun to have in our lives.

Let me know how your doing and if everything is good.

Huggers Sue, Jag & Lainey

Maisy from Rockledge, Florida~

Hi Susan,

We haven't updated you on our wonderful Maisy in awhile. Maisy is such a fabulous dog. We adore her!!!! She begins school tomorrow and is already ahead of the game with all of the tricks and obedience things Greg has taught her. We can tell she is a northern girl...she prefers to sleep on the cold floor when we have the heat on in the house. Yes, we do have to run the heater in Florida and especially this year!! Maisy had her very first trip to the groomer and did pretty well. She was a little wiggly....but she did fine. Here are a couple of pictures of her, before and after the goomer.

Wow are those new puppies gorgeous!!

God Bless,
Rose Ann

"Bye Bye" to Dolly's Winter Litter Part Two~

Once again it is with a heavy heart that I must say "Goodbye" to my precious little ones. May the good Lord above shower the new families with His goodness and love through these little puppy-wuppies. :")

"Bye Bye" to Miss Flower's Christmas Litter~

It is with a mixture of sadness and joy that I say "Goodbye" to Miss Flower's Christmas Litter. I have a profound sense of accomplishment that they have grown to be such beautiful puppies. I will miss them all, and pray that they bring happiness to each new home. May the good Lord bless them always, and their new families as well!

Nicholas and Kringle from Easthampton, Massachusetts~

HI,
THEY HAVE DISCOVERED BABY CARROTS !! THE NEW SNACK FOR TEETHING!!! THEY KNOW WHERE TO FIND THEM AS YOU CAN SEE !! LOL, LOL.

THEY HAD THEIR FIRST CHECK UP AT THE VET. YESTERDAY AND EVERYTHING WENT WELL. THE VET WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH OUR PET KNOWLEDGE, AND THE FACT THAT WE HAD NO INTENTION TO BREED. I TOOK A COMMUNICATION CLASS FOR ANIMALS OVER THE WEEKEND. HE LIKES THAT FOLKS LIKE TO BE KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THEIR PETS.
COMPLIMENTS TO YOU, HE SAID " THE BREEDER MUST SPEND A LOT OF TIME WITH THEM AS THEY ARE HAPPY, HEALTHY PUPPIES."
YOU HAVE DONE A FANTASTIC JOB AND I HAVE ALREADY REFERRED YOU TO SOMEONE !!!!!!!

TALK SOON,
HUGS FROM
THE BOYS !

Bonny & Betsy, Upper Peninsula, Michigan~

Sue, Thought you and Mike might like to wander down memory lane......remember this?
Sisters do what sisters do:

Bonny tried to write a letter to Mama Sue:

Of course Betsy would try too!

Monday morning Feb. 22nd, finds Holly and Grandpa back in Hingham on the south shore of Boston ready to walk Nate and Cooper to the bus stop for school. We had a
wonderful five day vacation traveling to and from Massachusetts. Holly had her first overnight in a hotel, she walked on leash in Old Sturbridge Village, romped on the beach in Cape Cod with
dogs and boys, came "home" to Hingham where she discovered how fun it is to play table tennis and basket ball with her grandboys and she snoozed in the car while Mom and Dad visited the Norman Rockwell museum in West Stockbridge. She was a WONDERFUL traveler and a polite little house guest. We won't hesitate to bring her along for lots of adventures in the future!

Holly from Upper Jay, New York~

On the beach - adjacent to the salt marsh where the kids vacation home is in Hyannis. Here Holly climbs rocks and sniffs the pungent sea air at low tide.

Holly from Upper Jay, New York~

After a spirited afternoon of play - Holly and Max cuddle up on the dog bed for a little R&R.

Holly from Upper Jay, New York~

Dear Susan,

It's been a while since I updated you with Holly pictures and information. We've been busy!
This past week we drove out to Cape Cod to visit our grandchildren and introduce Holly to Max - our
Golden Doodle granddog. They got along terrific! Max was a champ about
letting an energetic little puppy invade his space. We broke the ice by taking them for a walk
when we arrived. Here she is with Max in Hyannis while three generations of our family multi-task:
walk and toss the football at the same time!

Hi

The boys are full of themselves !! They play, and play, and play !! Dave is the puppy sitter this weekend as my friend is here from NH, and we are taking a weekend class. They are pretty good about sleeping thru the night, but we try to take them outside to the bathroom on a schedule to get them use to it. (They like newspaper better.) Anyway, they are great !! They are learning to walk on a leash with no problem though !

Hugs from all of us !

Bella from Tuckasegee, North Carolina~

Hi Sue,

These are a few photos from the ice storm. Bella doesn't like the ice, but she loves snow!
We received about 3 inches of ice on top of a light snow. Then it began snowing once more and it was on and off all weekend. We've had snow or flurries in some form for the last 5 days. The higher elevations have snow from the storm in December and the snow keeps coming.

NICHOLAS IN PURPLE KRINGLE IN BLUE

Hello! Just wanted to give a "pawgress report" on our new family member. First of all, thank you sooo much for allowing us to have Chloe. She is as precious as can be. She slept almost the whole way home! I tried taking her out to do business 3 times, but she didn't goe until we got to my in-law's in Chicopee, MA around 3pm. She seemed to really like Papa's grass better than snow! I must have you to thank for her knowing her name when I call her.She slept in her little crate ALL night without much fuss. I took her outside at 6:15am this morning when she finally awakened! Our trainer met Chloe at 10am and was impressed with her quickness in learning. We were doing recall, sit and down. She was so cute when she met Wendy's full grown male german shepard. You could tell she had never seen a dog that big! She eventually came close to him, letting him lick her! Wendy also commented on the quality of Chloe's breeding. She noticed her nice topline and her form as she pranced around! Natalie is adjusting to her new sister and Chloe is taking it in stride! They were playing a bit outside today! I hope Mike got some hopeful answers yesterday with his eyes. Keep me posted.
Much love,
Kimmy
