Barry from Reno, Nevada

Barry, my last little puppy, flew to Sacramento on Saturday. His new mommy drove to Reno to pick him up. He was so sweet, and I will always miss him. boo hoo The good news is that we will have another litter at the end of September, so that will put a smile back on my face.
Barry's new mommy wrote:

Susan;
Barry is home safe and sound. We had no trouble picking him up a the airport. It was a long drive home - but he did well and did not seem too stressed by all the travel. I slept next to his crate and he slept well. Now we're setting up his containment area. Everyone thinks he's beautiful.

Sophie from Adrian, Michigan~

Sophie is growing faster than I want her to. She must weigh at least nine pounds, or more, by now. A week ago she weighed 8 lbs, 4 oz!

She has a sweet disposition...........well, when she isn't biting my feet!

Our cat is still maintaining separate living quarters. Remembering how well she and our last cocker got along, it's really amusing. She will come around I'm sure, just as soon as Sophie grows up!

Cheers,

Betsy

Romeo from Bellmore, New York!

Hi Sue,

Hope everything is well with you. Romeo is doing great! My husband and I took him to PetSmart today and everybody went crazy over him! Everyone said how beautiful he is, that he looks like a stuffed animal, and he was so good, not one accident! Yesterday was a bit tough. He howled and cried so much! As soon as I would put him in the crate he would cry and howl like crazy, my husband and I ignored him until he fell asleep about two hours later he would do the same thing again, so I would wake up pick him up and take him outside to do his business and he would. So he did good not one accident in the crate. Today ever since last night I've been taking him out every hour or so. Like when he wakes up from a nap or after he plays or eats. I would tell him to go pee-pee and he would do #1, I tell him go poo-poo and he would!!! I couldnt believe it! All day today, I would tell him either pee-pee or poo-poo and he would go! Not one accident in the house! God Bless!!!
He loves sleeping on the tile in my kitchen! I took some pictures from my phone that I will send you their too cute. My husband and I have yet to have our picture taken with him, maybe tomorrow.
Today I went to the grocery store for a little and I put him in his crate and left. I stood by the door for about 10 minutes and he kept crying and howling. Is that ok for me to leave him in his crate and go? Also, it's raining here today so I dont want him coming in the house all wet and muddy so I would keep him by the door and dry him off with a towel. He was a good boy about it. When you give him a bath do you just towel dry him or do you blow dry his coat? Anyhow, hope everything is going great with the other pups as well.

With love,

Rana

I could not get her to sit & stay so I could back up far enough to get her and the pond in the picture !!!!!!!!!!!!
I need to get my daughter to take some more pictures of her, she is growing up way to fast!!!!!!!!
Her coat is very nice, soooooooooo soft and she has a lot of it.
I hope to get her groomed sometime next week, so we will be doing a photo shoot after that.
Hope all is well with everyone.

Sophie from Forty Fort, Pennsylvania~

Sue --
Just happened to snap this wonderful picture of Sophie yesterday!!! Can't you just eat her up?

Katie from Forty Fort, Pennsylvania~

Momma Sue --
Our little Katie has a broken toe. No idea how it happened but was limping when I got home from work this morning. I am going to send you a pic of her all bandaged up as soon as I download it.
By the way, the staff at the ER went crazy over her. They said she is one of the prettiest and nicest cockers they've ever seen. I hope you don't mind I told them where I got her since they were so impressed.
(Will get Xrays again in 2 weeks. Vet said toe breaks usually heal fairly quickly.)

Aine (Clover) from Buffalo, New York~

Hi Susan, I hope you are doing well. Sorry I havent sent you any new pictures of Aine lately but we took some for her first 4th. Wait till you see how big she has gotten.
Susan she is such a little princess. She loves sitting on the patio and just staring at the birds and airplanes. She chases bees around the grass-crazy I know. Ofcourse she is still sleeping with me every night on her own pillow above my head, I can feel her breath on my head.

She is almost house trained and is in the middle of her puppy preschool classes. I think at her last vet appt she was 16lbs already. Ofcourse she is getting her first big girl grooming at the beauty parlor this weekend. She has had 2 puppy trims already and she is a hairy little girl. My sister calls her the grinch b/c of all her facial hair. She has the most beautiful color. And she lost her last (at least we think so) puppy tooth today. Meg managed to get it so we can preserve it.

Well I think I got you all caught up. So enjoy her pics. We are tossing around the idea of getting her a little sister so we may be in touch!

Have a great summer.
Tracy

Sophie (Lady Liberty) from Adrian, Michigan~

Hi, Sue,

Just a note to let you know that we arrived home safely without incident at 6:30 this evening. Sophie (and it is Sophie!) was a darling, even relieving herself at the designated places. Can you believe that she began to whimper when it was time for her to go? So, we pulled off at the nearest exit and she went! Hopefully, this is a sign of easy housebreaking!
Bedtime should be interesting! :)

Thank you for everything you have done. I will keep in touch and will send photos as soon as I have some time to upload them and send some to you. Betsy

Maddie from NY and Luna from Massachusetts~

Blossom from Northfield, Vermont~

Hi Sue:

Sending along updated photos of my baby girl Blossom. Hoping everyone is well. May you enjoy these pictures as much as I do. Blossom is doing very well and at times has a mind of her own. When she has found a Kleenex or a piece of paper and is fond of chewing on it she protects it like a badger and if you don't have a treat to give her in place of it, there is no getting it away from her. Can you tell she likes her blue monkey!
Rosie and Cubby's as well as Miss Flower's and St James litters are absolutely gorgeous. When breeding Gracie will she be bred to maybe throw some chocolates? That's my wish. :)

God Bless you and your family for what you do for other people.

Summer wishes from VT

Wet puppy kisses from Blossom

Mandi and Lexi from Longview, Washington~

Good evening Sue,
I went shopping today for some new patio furniture (for the girls of course). Thought you might like to see the pictures.

Debbie

Mandi and Lexi from Longview, Washington~

I have attached some new pictures of the girls, one shows the enclosure we made for them with the sun shades (you know light colored dogs tend to sunburn LOL). If you look closely in the bottom right corner you will see the girls; it appears they want out, you know when you are inside you want outside and when you are outside you want inside - it's the grass is greener on the other side.

Katie and Sophie from Forty Fort, Pennsylvania~

Hi Sue --
Hope you and everyone is well. Wanted to let you know that all is well here. Katie has become the splitting image of her mommy Jingles and Sophie looks just like daddy Cubby. They are both so beautiful. They are such smart little girls!
