Piper from Victor, NY~
Good morning, Sue!
Thank you so much for this little bundle of love! I cannot put in words how very much I love her....
She is asleep at my feet as I type this.... I have taken shots with my new camera and will send you some when I teach myself how to put them in the computer.
She has noticeably grown since we first held her a week ago today, and she now bounds up steps that a week ago she could not negotiate. She quickly learned to respond to her name (both Piper and Piper Grace), and housebreaking is going reasonably well. Her Aunt Becky stops every evening on her way home from work and Piper does twirlly jumps with excitement when she walks though the door.... She sleeps (with me, of course) through the night without any accidents. She follows me from room to room and wants to be with me as much as I want to be with her, and she bounces around as only new puppies do, and is very curious. She is wonderfully social, and everyone she has met -- and she has met a lot of my friends and family this week -- remarks about how pretty and sweet she is.... I think Piper's favorite times of day are playtimes. Mine are the cuddletimes -- every evening and sometimes in the morning or during the day she falls asleep on my chest. She is very good at entertaining herself with her toys and gives every indication of being a happy little girl.
With Dolly's litter gone to their forever homes, I hope you have had a week that was a little more peaceful than usual. Please know you are in my prayers daily, and I will be blessed to hear how the Lord is ordering your steps -- I sincerely hope you will be able to take that summer road trip you wrote me about. And I hope we can see each other again -- we don't live that far apart! Becky and I would love to bring little Piper Grace back to see you in a few weeks or months so you so you can see how she has grown.... And please stay in touch as the Lord leads and time permits....
I hope Rosie's and Miss Flower's pregnancies are going well -- our love to them, to Dolly and Cubby, and to all your little ones....
God has blessed us with a heaven-sent little bundle of love whom we treasure beyond measure! May He bless you with a beautiful day today and meet your every need beyond your hope and expectation.... Love and hugs,
Ruth
Millie from Massachusetts~
Hi Sue: Today is Millie's birthday. Kathy and I want to thank you for Millie. She is just as playful as ever.
You never know what she will do next. A family up the street has black cocker spaniel his name is Oreo.
So I suggested to Kathy that today we have a puppy party and invite the neighbors' dogs. They can play chase the squirrels and pin the tail on the cat in the back yard. She didn't go for that idea. Gee I don't know why.
Millie is doing just great, loves people and she likes to go for rides. Next Friday is her spa day. Once a month she goes to the groomers and gets spoiled. Bob and Dianne the groomer just love her. When I drop Millie off, she just runs behind the counter to Bob, her little nub just a wiggling away.
Once again thank you for our special pup.

Hi Sue,
Just writing to let you know we finally made it home. It was great to finally meet you. The puppies are wonderful! We had a few problems on the way home. About 45 minutes into our trip the passenger window of the car shattered. I don't know how, maybe something hit it, but we heard a huge bang and it was in about a million pieces. Luckily most of it just shattered and stayed in place, but about 1/4 of the window came flying into the car. My mom cut her hand pretty good and a piece of the inside of the door was cut, but thankfully no one was really hurt. We had to pull over and knock the rest of the window out and drive about 20 minutes until the next exit without a window. What fun...a little chilly... and Ryan was scared.. The puppies were safely in their crate. We just happened to get off on an exit where their was a tiny little auto body shop about a half mile down the road. The guys got a window from a junkyard and fixed it right away. But, it put us about 1 1/2 hours back AND over $100! We also had to drive for about 6 hours in the pouring rain. When the rain let up a little bit, we stopped and let the babies out to go potty. We got off and pulled over....and got stuck about 1 foot down in some mud! (I thought it was just gravel/sand on the side of the road, but it was squishy, wet mud!) Ryan and my mom got out and into the mud and tried to push me out, and then a nice lady pulled up and helped us. It didn't take long before we were out of the mud, but the mud was all over us!! We, of course, took pictures of our adventures. Other than these few mishaps, it was a good ride home. We got home about 9:15 our time (10:15 your time). My little boys sure like the puppies, as did Emily!! I was worried that she would be jealous, but her tail was wagging a mile a minute!! Tomorrow should be lots of fun, once we get unpacked and get the house cleaned up. The weather should be nice as well--55-60 degrees and sunny...yeah!! I think my mom wants to keep Noodles. She sure is a sweetheart. She wasn't nervous at all. She is very cuddly and sweet, but can get a little fiesty along with Noah when they are playing.
Well, now everyone is in bed, the babies are sleeping like little angels in their crate, and all is well...hopefully it will be all night. I'll make sure to send pictures of Noah. I will try to get a picture of Kay (or Mike, if he picks up Noodles) and Noodles when they come pick her up. It will be sad to see her go, especially after a few more days with her.
Thank you so much for the lovely little angel. We will take great care of him.

Isabella from Iowa~
Hi Sue,
I just wanted to drop you a line to tell you that we have decided on a new name for Noodles. We have chosen Isabella, or Bella for short. She is such a sweet little girl. We are patiently working on potty training, but she is not very fond of potting in the grass. We'll get it eventually.
She loves the children, especially Brianna (she sniffs at Brianna's bedroom door whenever Brianna isn't in the house with her.) The kids love to have Isabella chase them up and down our long hallway and are delighted when she plays with her toys.
Max from Cranford, New Jersey~
Max was picked up by Linda and Roger this past weekend. What a lovely couple they are! We had a nice chat about "fishing", which is our most favorite thing to do. I spent most of my free time as a child at our pond located in the back acres of our farm, fishing for mully-gudgers. Ahhhhh...those were the days. Life was much simpler then...such nice memories. :")
Anyway...Max will have a wonderful life with Linda and Roger, and may even learn to love fishing, too! :") Sue

Piper (Bunny) from NY State~
Dear Sue,
We have had a wonderful first few hours with Piper -- she is perfect! Becky and I are totally blessed, and Piper seems very much at home in her new surroundings and with her new family.... It was a treat to meet you, and I hope the rest of your day was as joy-filled as ours. Much love and a big hug,
Ruth

Ziva in her new home, Michigan~
Hi Sue,
Hope you and your family are having a Blessed Easter.
Ziva is doing just great and loving her new brothers & sister. Zoƫ wants to mother Ziva which is so cute to watch.
Ziva did great on the drive home and slept all but about 45 minutes of the whole trip, she however never made it to the crate.Ha ha...........
She did well last night also, slept in bed with me Tucker & Noah, Bill took the couch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The grandkids had to see Ziva so we stopped by there first before taking her home, my oldest daughter just lives down the road from Bill and I, so of course Mandy had to take her in the studio for her homecoming pictures. I hope you enjoy them.
The Lord is Risen! He is Risen, Indeed! Alleluia!
John 19:28) After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.
John 19:30) When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
Mark 15:38) And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.
Mark15:39 )And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of GOD.
Mark 16:1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the [mother] of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
Mark 16:2 And very early in the morning the first [day] of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.
Mark 16:3 And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?
Mark 16:4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.
Mark 16:5 And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.
Mark 16:6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
He is Risen! He is Risen indeed! Alleluia! What a beautiful day! Easter Sunday!
Jesus is Lord of my life. May you all have a blessed day in Him~

May God's richest blessings be yours.
All our love,
