Dear Sue,
I picked up our girls this afternoon from their trip to the groomers….here is a picture of Molly and Sunny with Heidi and Heather. I hate to say that I can’t tell them apart, even after having used their services for 10 years now! They are very impressed with the temperament that our girls have. Heidi told me that both girls sit quietly to have their faces trimmed, nails trimmed, teeth brushed, coats brushed. She was especially impressed that they are not afraid of the clippers or the hair dryers. They come home prancing and wagging, obviously proud of their new “do”!

Each day with these two is a special day. We wake up to kisses and wiggles from them, and they are always so glad to walk along with me or sit in my lap or sleep at my feet. Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful little girls with us! My husband wasn’t sure he was ready for another cocker spaniel after our Gracie died this summer, but he loves these two so much. It is a treat for me to see him playing with them.
Our son is a college student living in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and was surprised to see that you have a puppy living there. He is hoping to run across her someday when he is out and about; he says he needs a puppy fix! I love looking at your blog to see how your other families are doing with their puppies. You have an extended family all over the place!
I hope your Valentine’s Day was full of hugs and kisses….especially from that beautiful new granddaughter of yours!

Well I am officially a member of the Grandparents Club. My daughter had a Beautiful Daughter. Gloria Elizabeth Goddard, Born February 10th at 8:08 pm (Okinawa Time). She weighed 8lbs.13 oz and was 22 inches long. God is good. Mom and Baby are all doing well. I cannot wait until July to hold my little Gloria. Just wanted to share with you the Wonderful news.

Hi Sue,
I wanted to check in with you and let you know how wonderful Ranger is doing. I'm sending a short video of Ranger and Heidi playing. Heidi will get a toy and dangle it in front of Ranger so he'll chase her around the dining room table. So cute! You can also see what a snuggle-bug he is.

My husband and I are having so much fun having a puppy again. Craig hasn't been around cocker spaniels before and is amazed at how SMART Ranger is! He rings the bells hanging on the door knob to go outside and is sleeping almost clear through the night without having to go out. He'll even go into his kennel when he's tired and take a nap all by himself! While our lab will go outside and want right back in, Ranger loves to explore and sniff everything. It was snowy this morning which turned to rain later, and Ranger loved running around in the "weather"! I now know what you mean about him being laid back, nothing really startles him!

Thank you, again, for raising such wonderful dogs! We are so lucky to have little Ranger come into our lives.

Hi Sue,

I cannot believe this puppy! This morning she sat STILL and let me clip the tops of her ears, the underneath part by the ear canal, her neck and her face. She just sat there!! I also put some of the ear solution on a cotton ball---heated a little so it wasn't cold---and swabbed her ears. She seemed to actually like that...it must feel good to have her ears rubbed. She is such a good girl! This morning she was tearing around in the yard with the Poms and got a lot of exercise..now asleep in her crate.
She weighs 6 1/2 pounds now, and goes in for her second series of shots on Tuesday. It's hard to predict if she will be small or not--she is certainly a lot smaller than Hannah, but Emma was this size at this age and grew to be 28 pounds.
We are back to lovely warm weather, after a few really cold days....love it!

Hi Susan and Mike,

Sasha is doing really well. She is a bright, happy, healthy puppy. And absolutely gorgeous. We are both smitten.
At the Canadian border, the officer ensured that we had her health documents and asked how much we had paid. For residents of Ontario, 13% HST duty on her purchase price is due to the provincial government, so your buyers should be prepared for that. Each province has its own sales tax fee. The documentation that you gave to us was perfect though Canada Customs never actually read it.
The rabies shot requirement is waived for young puppies. That's it. If one is well prepared it is easy! I recommend that you advise your clients to contact Canada Customs and Revenue Agency to re-confirm this information.

On the way home from Lewiston, Sasha grizzled (whimpered) for a few minutes until we gave her the soft toy - which seemed to calm her. After a quick pit stop she slept all the way to Toronto. We really appreciated the toy and the special leash. Both were immediately pressed into service and are key parts of her puppy kit. That sweet pink blanket has kept her warm as we transport her from the car in the plummeting temperatures.

As you can well imagine, Sasha has kept us pretty busy as she discovers her new world here. She has already been introduced at her veterinary clinic in Toronto. She eats well and asks often to go out. She`ll even sleep happily in the car if we play the Brandenburg concertos! Now up north, there has been a fresh fall of snow so Sasha has been discovering and playing in it.

We thank you again for a very special puppy. We`ll stay in touch.

Hi Sue,

Here's a picture of Ava and Angel.....the poor cat is tackled by Ava every other minute. I got down close to take a picture, and while Ava was pestering her....she was purring. Amazing how tolerant she is.
Ava is doing so well and is such a delight...she comes when I call her, sleeps or plays quietly in her crate when I can't watch her......she has also started to eat a lot more. She will lie on the couch with me and snooze, which I love. She loves to play in the yard, but like the Poms, if I go in, she wants to come in. If I stay out, she wants to stay out.

Yesterday she got to go out on a walk with the 'big girls' and she had so much fun. I just let her gallop around on a really long stretch leash---I haven't tried to really train her to a leash yet, so she can just go where she wants. I will take her to puppy obedience later in the spring
Did you get a toboggan for the water? I hope it makes that task easier!

Thought you would love this picture of Alex and his best buddy Wilson (eight months old today!)

Wilson is always by Alex's side when playing in the yard, and in this photo they're looking at what is supposed to be our backyard ice rink! It's had limited use this year with our mild temps.

When it is frozen, Wilson loves running and sliding on it while the boys are at school.

I see from your website that Wilson's mom Dolly is due to have a litter anyday. It'll be fun to see the pics of Wilson's siblings.

As I'm watching the Super Bowl pregame this afternoon, I can't help not mention what a blessing to see on the blog my favorite three guys!!! I'm a HUGE FAN of Cubby Jr. and Bailey!! Jakey is beautiful too with a cute face and love his black and white color! But I wanted the Indian Harbour Beach Couple to know that because of their beautiful pictures of Cubby Jr. and Bailey when they were growing up made me so hooked to this website. I knew right away I wanted a highcallingcocker boy. And maybe two boys in the far future just like Cubby and Bailey. I love them so much, and wanted to share my love toward them and Rosie and Rio's litter. Last year at this time I was searching for a top breeder and a great looking cocker spaniel. Didn't know much about silver, creams, or silver-buffs, but because of this AMAZING FAMILY COCKER BLOG, I had made an easy and important decision to become a part and loyal family member of the highcalling cockers!! I wish Disney, Mia, Watson, a very Happy Birthday. I fell in love with them as I first saw your website for the first time of Disney, Mia, and Watson waiting to go home in a gated play pen. And loved the going home pics of all them. Especially Disney's going home pic. Loved that waterfall!! Disney is so gorgeous, I love how he is groomed, just as much as Disney loves his "chewies" HA HA. Remember? LOL. I send my prayers and love to every highcalling family member. P.S. It's been really warm down here and the doggies are loving very minute. We are having some painting done and one gate fell over on poor little Cubby- who was actually trying to push his way through- and scared him to death! I hope all is well with you and your family. I am sure you are enjoying your little granddaughter. I have no news yet, should be any day now for my first grandchild. Well I cannot believe that Mr. Watson is now a year old today. He has turned into such a handsome guy. I have enclosed a few pics of him and Mr. Wyatt. Watson says to tell you he even forgives you for sending than bossy Wyatt here to live. We gave Watson new toys today for his birthday and of course Wyatt has claimed them and poor Watson is playing with old toys (lol). They will eventually play with them together but new toys Wyatt claims and Watson backs off from him.

Watson has taken on the job of looking out for the hubby. Everywhere he goes Watson is right there and keeps Wyatt from jumping on him as he recovers from his hip surgery. I think Watson feels like he needs to protect his daddy.He is such a loyal guy. We love him so much and cant wait for our youngest daughter to meet him and Wyatt in July when they come home for a visit this summer. I will keep you updated for when I become a Grandma.

There are 2 pics of Watson enjoying his day and 2 of Watson and Wyatt. Again Thank-you for such great guys. I get so many compliments on the two of them.

I am attaching some pictures of Cyrus and his "brother", Carter. Cyrus is already telling us when he has to go outside. He walks to the door and stands there. He is so intelligent. He is going up and down carpeted stairs too. He is so active and not afraid of anything. He is definitely my baby. He wants to be with me or near me at all times. He sleeps through the night in his kennel in our bedroom. He met his future groomer this past Saturday and got his nails trimmed. He didn’t even struggle. He is a great well-adjusted pup that I love to pieces.

So how is everyone? I know your busier than a bumblebee!! Ha, Ha. I hope you enjoy the pics that I'm sending to our family blog. It is such a beautiful warm day down here in Florida. God is so GOOD!! Cosby and Carly are having a wonderful 'play day' today outside. We are making, as Carly says, 'sand castle's or shall I say, digging out the sand castles as Cosby is concerned, ha!! Thank you again for breeding such a wonderful, beautiful temperament cocker spaniel. Sue, you would also be proud of me and Cosby! Cosby's fantastic groomer, Mrs. Ana, has been encouraging us to walk early in the morning with her and her dogs. And I absolutely thank God for her sweet friendship and the workout that we do together to help us reach our weight loss goals together!! Cosby is a great social dog, with Ana's help of her three sweet dogs. We walk starting at 7:30 am. for 2.5 miles daily around our schedules. She's becoming a new fan of your special highcallingcocker family blog. I read it everyday just like the daily news newspaper, LOL. May God bless you and Mike and each family member. Hi Sue, I want you to know Hannah is doing great and getting very

spoiled. We are having a snow storm as I'm writing this and when she

goes outside she likes to slide down the ramp we have on our deck. I

thought she did it by accident but she would run up the steps and do it

again. So she has adapted to Wisconsin weather quickly. Hannah seems so

tiny to me as I am used to Labradors. I feel like I'm dressing a doll

when I put on her sweater. It was 1 degrees here yesterday and she

appreciated the extra warmth I think. We are enjoying her and my husband

is getting a kick out of her. Our cocker we had years ago was his

favorite dog. Our grand kids came for dinner last night and had such fun

with her. She has been getting up around 3 and then again at 6 to go out

during the night so we are a little fatigued today. But each day she

improves. She hold her own with our lab Ben. She likes to follow him

around and the silouette is so cute as he is 90 pounds and she is 7! He

is very gentle and has great patience with her. I catch her nibbling at

his feet sometimes. He just pretends nothing is happening. She sure is a

healthy eater! I think she's grown in the last 2 days. Thanks for

everything. We just LOVE her. She has a spunky personality! Will keep

you updated as she grows and progresses. Sally :)

Oh dear....how do you get up there??

Ava is reluctant to go potty in her potty pen--and I don't want her to get in the habit of going in the kitchen, so I just thought I have to get her outside. But all of Autumn's sweaters are too big for her. Didn't want to go to the store now, while it's warm for a little while...what to do.........?

Finally decided I could pin one of Autumn's on her tight enough to stay on for the few minutes she could be outside. And did she have fun! Wow! Lulu came out with us, and she was so delighted--they played tag and little Ava went bouncing through the snow just having a ball. The snow in that part of the yard isn't very deep, so she didn't get buried, and seemed to just love it. Also very interested in the smells, and seemed to get the idea of why we went out there.
Now she can nap while I go and get her a sweater that fits. She is definitely going outside every day now, because I can keep her warm and she really loved the 'big world' out there! :)

More Adventures of Ava--she keeps tackling the cat. :) This morning the cat was lying on the kitchen floor beside my chair...Ave came over and climbed right on top of the cat and stayed there, straddling her, licking her head. The cat just tolerated it for a while, and finally got up and sought refuge in the little plaid bed, but Ava saw where that was going and jumped in with her. Cat finally left to seek peace and quiet in the living room. There is a special place in Heaven for that cat.
I think I will have to confine Ava in a crate for half an hour with her food from now on. Without the competition of the litter, she kind of grazes. She will eat a couple bites and go off to play. I don't leave her food down all the time....just three times a day. But she still wants to play instead of eat, so I'll try the crate thing. Judging from her energy level, she IS getting plenty to eat! :) She's figuring out the wood floors now, too, and loves to gallop from one end of the kitchen to the other.

I am going to take her outside on Sunday when it warms up. Have to get her a sweater. All of Autumn's are way too big for her.

She didn't cry at all when I put her in her crate beside my bed last night, and she slept until after six this morning. Nice to get her into a routine. She's such a happy little thing...what a joy.

Finally home with the little one--what a long journey for her, but all is well. She traveled quietly in her little crate today, wrapped in a fleece blanket, and slept all the way home.

I stayed with friend Pam in Madison Monday night, and then we drove to Chicago on Tuesday to pick up the Noelle. Got back to Pam's about 10:30 at night, and puppy seemed worn out and whimpered, etc. She did eat and drink, and slept until 3 am when I got up and held her for a little while.

In the morning I set up the ex pen for her and she alternately played in there with her toys and cried. We would take turns holding her, she'd fall asleep, and then go back in her pen.

The little boy in the picture is Abe, and he is Pam's little nephew. His older brother is in Loma Linda Med Center having very serious surgery, and Abe is staying next door with Grandma. Pam invited them over for coffee this morning, and to see the new puppy. Poor little Abe fell on the stairs yesterday and cut his lip, and had to have stitches in the ER\. Grandma was so horrified, as the parents have enough to handle at Loma Linda. But Abe seems fine, and asked so sweetly if he could hold the puppy. He was watched carefully by Grandma, but was very gentle and tender with her, and held her for quite a long time. We asked him what name he thought the puppy should have, and he said, Soft Puppy. He is only two, and such a sweet little boy.

So Noelle has met my two friends, Pam's parents, Abe and his Grandma, and now that we're home, my husband John. Also Autumn, Lulu (our Pom's) and Angel the cat.

Noelle has no permanent name yet but we will make a decision tonight, now that we've seen her for a little while. She seemed so demure and even timid at Pam's, although very sweet and friendly. But now at home, is in high gear and has much confidence. I let her loose in the kitchen for a while tonight, and she ran all over the place. She chased Autumn, who snarled at her as expected, and then retreated to a higher chair. Then she chased the old cat, who complained vocally but licked puppy's face. Then she chased Lulu, who is so funny--she wants to play, but she's a bit wary of this new little creature, so she will play tag, but growls if the puppy gets too close. Also, we have wood floors throughout the main floor, so puppy has little traction and keeps ending up on her side. But she is up again and off after Lulu in a flash. (Emma was familiar with the wood floors, and would run full bore for the front door to go outside, but had her timing perfect, and knew just when to sit down and slide the last ten feet to the door.) I think Lulu and Noelle will be good friends. Autumn will continue to cuss and scowl, but will never hurt her. Autumn is almost eleven years old and Doesn't Play with Children. But Lulu has been bored since Emma died, and will have fun with the puppy.

She is now back in her little pen, having had exercise, dinner, water , hugging and potty. She's asleep in her blanket. My friend Betsy is stopping by to see her later, so she will meet another person. They say 100 people in the first 100 days, and it worked with Emma. Everyone she met was her friend.

So I think the puppy has a good start. Now she will have some days to just enjoy the routine at home and settle down. I do hope to get her out in the yard for potty if the weather isn't too cold, but we'll see. I was very happy to see her throwing her toys around tonight and having her tail up in the air and her little behind wiggling. She was a bit of a sad sack last night, but she's obviously very resilient and has great enthusiasm for new things.

Mark and Sally were lovely, charming people, and were so delighted with Hannah. They are very young grandparents and said their grandchildren will enjoy Hannah when they visit. They have a gentle old lab now, and want him to teach Hannah about lots of things. We were all so excited when the van drove in and they opened the rear doors. More fun than Christmas!

I will certainly keep you up to date on Noelle's progress and send pictures. Thank you so much for such a beautiful puppy, and the effort and expertise and love it took to produce her. She will be dearly loved here, and tenderly cared for.

Hello Sue,

We wanted to Thank You and Mike for bringing Natasha to us yesterday. And, of course, to let you know we all arrived home safely. Natasha did famously at the airport and on the plane. She slept most of the way, only whining a bit when we started the descent into West Palm Beach. Fortunately, we didn't have a 7 hour layover on our trip home, so it was much better than the trip up. Thanks also for the tip to check out Direct Air into Niagara Intl Airport. Here's a photo of you with Natasha (your "Cookie,") as well as one of her sleeping soundly as we waited to board the plane (with her special blanket).

Once we arrived home, Natasha promptly emptied her little bladder (on the grass!), and then began to explore. We didn't let her roam much, but she claimed the family room as her own. She ate, drank some water, played with her toys, and called for attention. She slept in her crate, waking me every few hours to go outside. Of course, she wanted to play, but I wasn't up for that at 3AM.

She's totally charmed Lou, and my hopes of having a Cocker slightly less spoiled than the last one are probably in vain. Today we visited the family vet - Dr. Pryor at the Village Animal Clinic in North Palm Beach. As you would expect, she stole the hearts of all the gals and guys in the office, as well as her vet. We received many compliments on both her looks and personality. Dr. Pryor said they seldom see Cocker Spaniel puppies these days, and Natasha sure is a cutie.

And, as if that wasn't enough excitement for the day, some of our neighbors insisted on meeting Natasha when we arrived home. She met their dogs as well. She ignored them at first, but then was chasing them to play after just a few moments - we don't think shyness is going to be an issue with this one! And, she 's already received two "Welcome Home" gifts from the neighbors.

She's doing fine - out like a light at my feet after all the excitement of the day. I've included some snapshots taken while she and I waited in the car for Lou to do the grocery shopping - she's quite a ham. And then a quick set as she explored the patio. I've yet to have success taking a photo of her standing up, as she's always running full out. It seems she has two speeds - All ON and All OFF - nothing in between.

Hi Sue,

It's a snowy and very busy Saturday for the three of us. We went to see DASH's vet today, her name is Dr. Carol Radinsky from Belvoir Pet Hospital here in Cleveland. She said he's a very good dog in so many ways, very calm, beautiful and seems very healthy, he's also very friendly to the other small dogs in the clinic but intimidated and shaking to see the big dogs there They did physical exam, stool exam and he was given his first tablet for heartworm prevention.

During his first night he was so well behaved, after your daughter left I showed him our house and introduced his crate and playpen, he's shy and extremely sweet to me that night. He fell asleep (in his crate with closed doors) as soon as I turned off the light at 10:45pm. Ed arrived at 12 midnight and as expected he woke him up even if I told him not to, and played with him for a little bit but after an hour he went back to his crate and sleep untill the morning ( no crying at all ) Is he really making some funny sounds while sleeping?
The following day is a little different, he's playing a little bit and and keeps on sleeping for 2-3 hours each time the whole day, we just allowed him to do what he wants 'cause Ed said he's still adjusting to his new surroundings and with us, but we regret that 'cause he's up the whole night last night playing and crying a little bit, I think he's starting to come out of his shell now. Like I said we're busy the whole day today so we hope he's going to sleep well tonight.

He's eating and drinking water good. He's missing the potty tray sometimes when doing #1 and #2 but that's expected as we're just starting with his training.
Thanks Sue for taking good care of him during his first 9 weeks. We hope that we can maintain what you have started.

We will update you everytime there's something new with him.

Hi Sue!

You asked about our weather. It has been in the 40's. We had a couple inches of snow for

Christmas, but that's all gone except for really shaded spots. It's been very

mild and dry here.
I've attached a few pictures of Drummer for you. These were taken in November

and December. The one shows how Drummer flips his ear over the arm of the

chair when he lies down for a nap. And the one on the couch was taken during

the holidays right after he was groomed. I'm not sure why he had such an

expression (sort of a scowl) - makes it look like I woke him from his nap! The

other picture is of him playing with one of his toys.

How is Mike doing these days? We think of you often and you both are in our

prayers.

How have you been? I am doing really well, and I had a nice Christmas, and now we are starting a New Year! My mommy said you found my Christmas photo on Facebook, and put it on the blog, oh that is really great, and did you see that people liked my photo?

I am so sorry I did not get a Merry Christmas wish to you, mommy was really busy with getting ready for Christmas, and keeping me out of the tree. Well, Mama Sue, that has been an issue, is the Christmas trees. We have a big tree, and a small one. I like getting things off them and running away with them, the little tree has toy dogs like my toys, and I just want to play with them. Mommy has to chase me around the sofa, and right now she does not think it is funny. Today I got behind the tree and since it is in the corner I could not figure out how to find my way out. I had to be rescued. This year I did not have the gates in front of the tree, so that made it real easy for little me to help with rearranging the decorations. The trees may be coming down tomorrow because mommy says she cannot take anymore of my escapades. Mama Sue, what are escapades? Does that mean I did something good, I just do not know? It's me Emily writing to wish you a Very Happy New Year and to
tell you about Christmas at our house. Oh Mama Sue, Santa
finally came and filled my stocking. My stocking was empty for
a few days but my family kept telling me Christmas Eve would
soon be here and Santa would surely fill my stocking because
I have been a very good girl!!! They were right because when I
woke up Christmas Day there was my stocking full to over-flowing.
Santa brought me loads of toys and I love playing with every one

Oh Mama Sue our Christmas buffet was great with all kinds of
good things to eat; my special favorite was the cheese platter.
Cheese is one of my favorite things, Swiss, Gouda, Havarti, American,
makes no difference - I love them all.
Before Christmas my Mom was looking on your blog and when
she came across pictures of my brothers, Bojangles from Ware, MA
and Dusty from Moose Island, Maine, she called everyone to come and look at
them - even ME. They both looked very happy and healthy and we were all
so glad to see them and hear how they were doing. I hope my sister, Gracie
from Harrisburg, PA is happy and healthy as well.
I'm still waiting for the snow fall to come to Quincy and look forward to

I have been meaning to get in touch with you all year long, and let you know how much we love our little ‘Mia’ who was born into your home in Sept 2010. We met you on a cold November day 2010, in Syracuse when she became ours. Mia is doing great, and is a sweet, loving little dog. She is behaved, but does have her mischievous side as well. Yesterday, Alex and I took her on a long walk on the beach of Long Island sound. She really enjoyed running loose (but stayed near us) and she loved to visit with the other people and dogs out walking on the beach.
I must ask, how is your son doing ? When last we spoke, he had graduated from Syracuse, and was going to Airborne school ? I wonder where he is now stationed. I always felt a connection to you, because as you may remember, my son Alex (21years old) was principally ‘raising’ and training Mia until he left for the Army in February, 2011. Alex did go through Infantry training in Fort Benning GA, then also did the Airborne training like your son. In the fall he made it through the intense Special Forces selection, and now station at Fort Bragg NC where he will be training as a Special Forces Medical Sergeant. Home coming between Alex and Mia was special to see.
It has been wonderful having Mia as part of the family, and my Daughter (now 17yrs) just treats her like she is a little stuffed animal with an attitude. Mia gets lots of attention. You do a wonderful loving thing for this world in raising little puppies for others to enjoy. Thank you.

Watson and Wyatt sure do miss there daddy. It was a very quiet Christmas here. Thank -you for my wonderful guys. I was not alone on Christmas , they were here and gave me a lot of kisses. I have enclosed some pics of them with there new teddy. They do like it , but still go back to the old one. I think of you a lot when they do there nightly chase around the hallway. I still can see you laughing at the 2 of them. They do it during the day sometimes but always in the evening they go round and round for at least 10 laps. Wyatt wasn't sure on how he liked the white stuff. It took awhile for him to do his business in it. I love reading your blog and seeing all the wonderful cockers from the past and the new ones. You breed such wonderful family pets and I will be forever grateful for my guys.

Hope you and the family have had a nice Christmas. Mike and I, Chloe and Natalie are in Tennessee with my parents and Sophie (name was "Chloe" at High Calling Cockers)! We are enjoying a "Tennessee Christmas". It's been 45-57 degrees and nice and quiet. We take all 3 girls for a walks a couple times a day which they love. Turkeys and deer are common sights. They have been getting along pretty well. Sophie ("Chloe")seems to enjoy having company again! She is so lovely, Sue! Her color is beautiful and a temperament to match! We love her! Hello!!! Merry Christmas!

I have been meaning to write you for a while now and send you some pictures of Molly (aka Raegan). Yes, Dad won the naming war. So, Molly as she is now called, is just the most amazing little thing. She is the perfect fit to our family. She adjusted to our home quite well. We have been doing a lot of training and she is up to about five tricks. She sits, gives paw, jumps (my sister taught her that one), lays down and in the morning she brings in the newspaper. LOL . She cracks us up everyday with that one! I wanted to enroll her in a puppy kindergarten because she is so active but because of that flu going around, I decided against it. She LOVES to run. LOVES LOVES LOVES to run and play fetch. When she does finally wind down she is a total mush. She loves to cuddle and lay in my lap whenever she can. She is definitely my shadow.

It was so wonderful to finally get to talk to you on the phone while we were in the hospital with Clay again this week. I love your accent and it's so different from mine down here in the South!!LOL!! I guess my favorite word is YAW!! Like sweet Paula Deen, ha. Thank you for all your prayers, we actually had a wonderful report from Clays biopsy, so far they can't find any infection in his body, that could cause him a shunt infection. Praise God!! We already had been down that road two yrs. ago, and I'm so happy he's not in any pain anymore and we stayed there till wed. and was able to be released. God is such a mighty Healer, and I know he can restore Sylvia, the highcalling cocker too, bless her heart!! I hope you and the blog family enjoy these pics. Cosby, is such a wonderful highcalling cocker, who the precious Lord lined everything up for us to adopt him, and become a part of our family. I praise God for the joy that He brings with us through Cosby, who lifts our spirits every day, and greets us at home with our family members coming home from the hospital as many times as we do with Clay. We are so blessed to have Christmas at home with Cosby and the kids, thank you Jesus for a complete healing in my sweet, humble husband, Clay. Merry Christmas Mama Sue........it's almost here! We have been awful good girls, and Daddy Syd says Santa Paws is coming tonight and will leave presents for us under our Christmas tree. Was you a good girl Mama Sue? Will Santa leave some presents for you too? Ain't you just excited? We are.

We helped Mama Sharon decorate Christmas cookies today, but she wouldn't let us have one, that wasn't very nice was it Mama Sue? Yous would have let us have one, uh?

Well, Mama Sharon says it's almost time for bed, and we have to go outside and do our "thing". We ain't got no snow to play in....do you? We sure wish we had some snow, cause we likes playin' in that stuff!

I want to take a moment this morning to wish you all a very Blessed Christmas! Today, as Christians, we celebrate our Savior's birth, Jesus Christ, our Lord. We are truly thankful that He entered our world as a little baby in Bethlehem to live a sinless life and to die for our sins. Because of His sacrifice, we have the assurance of a home in heaven when our life here is over. Praise God for that to look forward to!

Dear Sue,

Wishing you and yours a Blessed Christmas with abundant wishes for a New Year filled with joy, health and happiness!

It is hard to believe that Mitzt will be 2 years on Christmas Day! Where has the time gone?

She continues to be the light of our life. She is a people doggie for sure and all who meet her just fall in love.

No behaviors just a little foray to get some bathroom paper once in awhile when the temptation to unroll it gets too much.

As you can see she looks very tired, its tough waiting for Santa to get here and she likes her sleep.

A Daddy's girl she is, loves to play and talks back when it doesn't go her way sometimes. Funny to see the two of them interact.

She was the Christmas miracle that healed two very heavy hearts two years ago. She still uses her blankie you sent home with her and balls it up into a pillow to lay her head on every night. You will always be with her and again we thank you for this precious girl and all the hard work you do to bring this joy to so many.

Hello Sue!

I hope these come through in form you can use - I compressed them since the files were too big. My apologies again for lack of photo quality (my camera was stolen a year ago and I've never gotten around to replacing so these are from my blackberry -but getting new camera tomorrow since I want to get better photos of the babies!) -also sorry for some of the repetitive photos and that most are of Lachlan sleeping! I was having hard time getting him to sit still long enough for a good photo but we are working on it! :-)

We've been in puppy kindergarten and he is the youngest puppy but already knows all the basic commands and hand signals and was housebroken very quickly- he is so smart and sweet and social and everyone who has met him, including his vet and his teacher, say he has the most wonderful temperament and such a sweet disposition! I wanted to pass along since I have no doubt this is all due to you and your wonderful work with all of your cocker spaniels and their babies! I truly can't thank you enough for Lachlan--he and Leland are two precious miracles and blessings in my life and I love them so very much!

Thank you again for everything from the bottom of my heart...and sorry its taken me so long to send you an update on Lachlan! I will keep you posted more regularly about our little family and how well Lachlan is doing...I can't take my eyes off him or Leland - especially when they are playing together or curling up next to each other once they get sleepy!
